Lemme see if I can add to this.
I rented a brand spanking new Sebring convertible when I was in Florida 2-3
years back. The guy at the counter thought he was doing me a favor when he
let me have the new Sebring. I put a little over a 100miles while I had it
and I noticed several problems.
The maintain engine soon lamp was on all the time. The car pulled to the
left under hard braking. ABS kicks in very premature. There was a constant
burning smell coming from under the hood which had me somewhat concerned.
Not sure what those things are like now, but I wouldn't buy one.
I'd probably go with a GM product or a Ford if I had no other choice.
