85 watt bulbs won't melt your harness EVERY week, but you are running a high
risk by doing it. I ran 85 watt bulbs for about a year before it melted my
harness one day..(bad). I would suggest not exceeding the suggested rating
on the harness but,You can buy a aftermarket upgrade for your wiring harness
which comes with relays and allows you to run much higher wattage bulbs,
They run about $50..try importpartsplus.com if they don't have one check
carparts.com...APC products....
