i think this is simple. everywhere in the world, racism or discrimination happens. i
think the whole company doesnt have to be sued. i'm pretty sure that they don't choose
buyers since they all want to make money right. a discrimination that i see there is
that they (the dealership) might be doubting on somebody's capability or ability to
pay their prices. though im not saying that they didnt consider the guy being black.
about the chapperon assisted test drive, i think it is more of a perotective measure
or it is to settle the prices already. here in the philippines, when you test drive a
vehicle, there is a need for a sales person chapperone, not only to settle the prices
but to show the car's full potentials. i mean show its load of features and other
stuff. here as well discrimination happens not only to nissan dealerships but in
other business establishments as well. a relative dressed up a very simple dress that
she almost looked a housemaid or so. she bought lots of !
items on this supermart and a salesperson asked her if she could buy them all or if
she can pay for it. she flaunted her thousands of bills and the guy was embarassed.
money do can talk. i think it is more about the money. if you show them the money then
they will not even look on what is your color beacause they really do care about
selling the product. but then if they still discriminate you then it's a different
story i think it is on the salesperson's or the dealership's fault. but it is still
wrong to sue nissan for that. sue the dealership, then it is better. because i think
nissan company does only know that they manufacture cars and it is up to the
dealerships to do the negotiations on the selling of these cars. once dealerships have
the unit, nissan has no direct control on how would the dealership sell them. what's
important is that they sell them. how could nissan worry if blacks drive their cars if
people where it came from are discriminated as well. you know we !
asians have this discrimination as well. but we all want to make money right? so why
choose buyers? what could possibly that dealership is thinking?
