I've seen pictures of your car...
I am keeping this as a toy car, a second car to fool around with and modify.
The paint is in terrible condition, and it just makes me feel awful to toss
money into something that looks shabby... I prefer PERFORMANCE over
COSMETICS...

one or the other."
Economical = Cheap, I know the two are synonymous in our times, but I would
like to know A DOLLAR FIGURE for a decent paint job.

Ok, so it won't be cheap, what exactly would it cost? I'm not spending
$1,500-$3,000+ to paint a car thats probably only worth 800-900 dollars.
I'd put that into PERFORMANCE!!! I'm not trying to restore a classic. I
have never seen work done by Maaco. I've seen people trash them on the list,
and given them favorable comments as well. Of course ANY paint job is
surely better than what I have now. If I can do better(maybe a local body
shop), I will pay the extra...
I just need an estimate on a GOOD PAINT JOB(average price) - the word
expensive doesn't answer this...
