Am not a medical practitioner but am contacting you for help and
advise.....
My Uncle and beloved Godfather has now been in the ICU for almost 3
weeks hanging in there. He is in a clinic in Pretoria, South Africa.
If you have any connections or can advise a specialist in South Africa
could you please let me know !!
It almost seems to me that the doctors there are at a loss.....i do
not want him to die because of human error or lack of knowledge !
I live in Switzerland and therefore do not have all the exact details.
He has had a biopsy done on his leg (he had been complaining of pain
in his legs) a month before he was hospitalised with a big infection.
Not clear if picked up at home or at hospital during procedure.
Then he had respitory failure and now is on a breathing tube.
After that he had severe ulcer bleeding. Operated twice.
He is stable but heavily sedated and still on breathing tube....
Somehow i get the impression that his body is fighting and he just
needs the right medication: antibiotics to help him get over it !
