Generally you should be using a completely different set of physiological 
parameters i.e. a maternity EWS rather than a standard adult EWS.

Does anyone use a specific protocol or criteria for OB patients who are in 
labor or post partum that differs from the Surviving Sepsis Campaign 2008?
