I made a few, laminated, had a neon green wedge that covered the 6H window
between identification (time zero) and the end of the 6H goal. I rarely saw it
in use and if it was it was because I started it myself. I think visual cues
never hurt and depending on the culture of the ED, it may prove beneficial. In
my personal experience it did not, BUT I chose not to focus so much on use of
the clock and focus more on what was being done to the patient.

Subject: [Sepsis Groups] Sepsis Clocks

Does anyone have success with using a "Sepsis Clock" for patients that present
to the ED?
I am thinking of trialing them just as a visual reminder to the Nursing staff.
Thoughts from anyone?
