I am  working in experimental models of septic shock. We are trying to develop
clinically effective drugs that inhibit overproduction of NO and vasodilator
prostanoids and that increase production of vasoconstrictor mediators without
any adverse effect. I have a talk titled "Nitric oxide donors or nitric oxide
synthase inhibitors in the treatment of sepsis" at the 1st Central and Eastern
European Conference on
Sepsis, which will be held in Budapest 19-23, September 2012. As you know,
there are a plenty of data with NOS inhibitors in the literature, however,
there are only few studies with the use of L-arginine, NO donors, and inhaled
NO in patients with sepsis and septic shock.

I appreciate if you could share your experience with the use of L-arginine, NO
donors, and inhaled NO in the treatment sepsis and septic shock, if any.

Best regards,
