We would be interested in collaborating on reports for sepsis data collection

Epic

We have been live for six months with Epic and have created some basic reports.
At our facility, I have found that it is easier to start with a simple request
and then adapt the report as data is validated.
The current report I am pulling is simply for severe sepsis as a primary
diagnosis before I get into to much detail so I know I am getting the right
people. I cross reference against actual patients admitted to critical care.

Hope this helps

Colleagues,

The SSC is assembling a list of hospitals that are using electronic health
records and have developed reports to directly pull compliance data for the
sepsis bundles. If you are interested in sharing your activities with the
community, please send:

*         Hospital name

*         Contact person

* Vendor used for your electronic health records

* A very brief description of the reports

We have been in touch with both Cerner and Epic and are proceeding to open
pathways of communications amongst the users, the vendors and the campaign. We
are aware that there are other EHRs in the community so we do welcome all to
share your information.

Please send detail to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.

Many thanks for your interest and time as we move ahead together on a pathway
of early detection and treatment.
