We are developing an order set for the rapid response team to initiate when the patient screens positive for sepsis/sepis. We are told by Joint Commission that the only order set not requiring a physician signature, is the pneumovac/influenza screening order set. Are you staff getting the telephone order for R&V after they have obtained the labs/started the fluid bolus if indicated? How are you getting around this? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Judy Brohm RN,CCRN Director of Critical Care Clark Memorial Hospital
