Hello All,
 
Is anyone using the change in MEWS score as an indicator of potential decline? 
Especially in patients that have a morbidity creating an elevated lactate 
(Alcohol withdrawal, Liver disease) with no clear evidence of infection and may 
or may not meet SIRS criteria. If you do use the MEWS which adaptation are you 
using?
