Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is aware of a lactate monitor that is CLIA waiver,
for prehospital use? The Lactate Pro was the only device that I was aware of
but it has been discontinued. At this point our system is collecting blood
cultures and drawing a point of care lactate in a heparinized syringe prior to
administering our prehospital ABX. Do to some transport times, the syringe is
not making it to the ABG machine within 20 minutes and a new lactate level is
having to be drawn upon arrival at the ED. I am trying to find a way for our
crews to measure a true POC lactate level in the field.

Thank you,
