Is anyone willing to share their compliance rates for the first months of the core measure? I would like to get a feel for how we are doing comparatively. Our facility admits about 65 severe sepsis patients per month. About 1/3 of those are shock.
We were 35% for the core measure in October, but expecting a compliance rate of 60-70% in November (data not final). We have found that of the 20 or so cases that were sampled; only about ½ qualify as severe sepsis or shock making our denominator very low.
