We are using the device. We have the nurse perform the procedure and have the physician at the bedside for the final reading to see if there is improvement in the starling curve. I don't think the physician had to physically lift the leg. It's the clinical interpretation of the result of test that requires the physician or advance practitioner clinical knowledge. The physical act can be done by placing a wedge pillow which can be done by anyone.
