Hello all,

A patient is initially admitted as OBS, changed to inpatient status 2 days
later.
The only criteria for sepsis I can find is on the initial day of the visit
(OBS), nothing to qualify her for sepsis once she has been admitted to
inpatient status.

My question...Am I to look at the days when the patient was OBS? Or only
abstract the inpatient days?

Thanks for your help!
