Hello, I am a PA wondering if anyone would be willing to share their thoughts on what primary care practitioners can do to recognize sepsis and what is appropriate initial management if any as per the guidelines. My interpretation is clearly emergent disposition to the ED, but what about beginning IV crystalloid fluids and a blood culture? Any more or less than that? Appreciate any responses!
