Sounds like a great plan! We made a brief video on proper blood culture collection and made it mandatory to view...that seemed to help quite a bit

We are about to go to a process where we will post all names and contamination rates and celebrate those who do well and those who have a 3% or greater contamination rate will have to go to a blood culture refresher class.
