I just released ThirdBase, a fast and easy Date/DateTime class for ruby. Check out the release announcement on RubyForum (http:// www.ruby-forum.com/topic/171475). If your Sequel code deals with a lot of dates, you may want to try it out, as the performance improvement can be dramatic. I'm talking about doubling the performance of selects with no code changes on a table where 5 out of 23 fields are dates.
