The current master branch can be considered the release candidate for 2.8.0. It's possible that the jdunphy's change to the Oracle adapter to add disconnection support might make it in, if it is ready in time. Other than that, I don't expect any significant changes to be made before release unless bugs are found. Please test the master branch with your applications and report any breakage here.
