I had actually been thinking about blogging about sequel a bit more than just a casual mention by way of whatever topic I happened to be talking about in my own blog. If there's some specific topics you think users are interested in, I'd be willing to try to craft a few initial blogs around those topics to try to help with the advocacy.
I think that over the last couple of months, esp., I have really begun to grok sequel and truly apply it to my daily work without having to resort to raw SQL to get the job done and, as a result, my productivity is actually going up a good bit because I'm also finding ways to turn the rubyish sequel chunks into reusable chunks, rather than having useful functionality locked away in non-reusual heredocs that are essentially static SQL statements.
