On my mac, using Actual Technologies' ODBC driver to connect to SQL Server 2000 MSDE, when fields are not null, but are blank strings, I get nil value for the fields rather than empty strings.
However, with unixODBC and FreeTDS, if a field is an empty string, the value for the field returned by Sequel is empty string. When NULL, the value is nil. I much prefer the latter behavior for consistency's sake. Am I missing a setting somewhere? or is this a bug in the Actual Technologies driver?
