Yes I did - that's the real *bug bear* for me! BUT I did install via *gem install sequel* (thus it got loaded into my user space) and then the error was gone.
In the other login (*auser*) I didn't as I wanted it to work without any
monkey patching.
So now I have to use *-rubygems* to in my console line....
au...@main-pc::/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8/i486-linux$ruby -rubygems
myscript.rb
above works
au...@main-pc::/usr/local/lib/site_ruby/1.8/i486-linux$ruby myscript.rb
above fails.
What with the ruby env being the same as below I thought I'd not require the
-rubygems switch.
