The file naming convention is mentioned in the migration.rdoc: http://sequel.rubyforge.org/rdoc/files/doc/migration_rdoc.html I agree that the error message could be better. How about the following: "No target version available, probably because no migration files found or filenames don't follow the migration filename convention" I don't really like generators, so I don't expect them to be added to Sequel. However, it someone else wants to work on them, I'll happily link to their project from the Sequel website.
