I'm using jdbc:sqlserver (SQL Server 2008) and need a case sensitive join. Currently, this is the only solution I found. DB[:table1].join(:table2, "table1.column1 COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CS_AS".lit => :table2__column2)
