I was curious if there was any official support for extending database adapters in a similar manner to model plugins.
In a few projects, I've needed to alter methods like #schema_parse_table to do things like scrape extended properties or add custom data types for columns. I've done this in the past with monkey-patching, but I was wondering if there was a better way. Even if there isn't, I have to say I'm always impressed with what this ORM is capable of and its current level of customization. Excellent work!
