The caching plugin caches only lookups by primary key ( http://sequel.jeremyevans.net/rdoc-plugins/classes/Sequel/Plugins/Caching.html). If you are looking on caching any other type of lookups, it would not be suitable. If you are performing primary key lookups and it isn't caching, you should probably post an example of what you are doing.
