This could be an issue with Oracle's JDBC driver. Sequel just uses getMetaData.getColumns and similar methods in the JDBC driver. If those don't return the correct values, there's not much Sequel can do about it. Possibly, you need to specify the catalog argument when loading the metadata? Sequel currently always uses nil for the catalog argument. If you can show working JDBC code for getting the metadata for the linked table, I may be able to make the appropriate changes to Sequel.
