Hi,

I am completely new to Sequoia and am trying to determine if I can use it for my application. Currently, I have multiple different DB installations at different client sites. My clients want to have DB backups off site. So what I would like to do is be able to replicate each client's database to a central location, where I can manage everything locally.

My DB engine is MySQL, so this would be the equivalent of a theoretical single slave-multiple master setup (not yet feasible with MySQL) where each client site is a different master, and my central DB would be the slave.

I realize that DB names may cause issues if they have the same DB name, so I am okay to ensure uniqueness between all the different DB names.

Can Sequoia help me out with this? Would this be a RAIDb-0 configuration?

I've read the User manual, but am still somewhat confused about if/how I would set something like this up.

Thanks for the info!

Eric
