Hi Neil,
I noticed that the entries in the recovery log
in my database were purged.
When does that happen?
This should only happen when you call the 'purge log' command.
This can happen on a controller restart if a controller was not properly
stopped. At restart time, if the shutdown checkpoint cannot be found in
the other controller, you will get an explicit error message asking you
to manually resynchonize the log. This will overwrite the existing log.
These are the only 2 cases I can think of.
Hope this helps,
Emmanuel
