Hi all, We recently had a problem using Sequoia with Appia because our controller servers don't have any direct access to the internet. Whereas in Sequoia itself the DTDs used to validate the configuration file are in the classpath, Appia needs to access to the internet to get its DTD and validate its configuration file. I fixed the problem by changing the URL to a local file in my RPM packaging of Sequoia (I apply a patch to the default appia.xml file) but I think a better solution should be found to allow Sequoia to be run by default without any internet access (AFAIK, Appia should be the default communication layer for the upcoming 3.0). Any comment?
There is no problem with Appia for getting its DTD from a local file, only benefits.
I agree with you, it should be like this by default on sequoia 3.0. Thanks for your feedback, -- Nuno Carvalho University of Lisbon, Portugal http://dialnp.di.fc.ul.pt
