Hello, Still doing tests on Sequoia, I have tested Failover. It seems to run perfectly except that the recovery does not give expected result. Configuration: 2 controllers holding each a VDB with each one backend To test failover I've stopped mysql service on one host. So that one backend is disabled. OK But When I do what's explained in "8.2 Recover from a database server node failure" of the adminguide, all seems OK, backend is re-enabled, but the content of the backend is not the same as the one on the other node. I thought the command enable <backend> was in charge of synchronizing data ? Controller has not been stopped so the local recovery log should contain all necessary information. Did I miss something ? Just another question: I 'm interesting in having alerts sent when one backend is disabled, or one controller failed. Is this possible, maybe using log4j ? Gérard --
