"Starting MS SQL Service Drop Virtual Database directly from SQl Server" Restore works - all contents of dump file are restored. But next operation - enabling fails. It has to add entries from recovery log as I understand. Could you help with understanding the error: ERROR backend.DatabaseBackend.mainPCDB Unable to get a connection to gather database schema. Hi Denis, What might happen is that the MS SQL Backuper does not drop the database before restoring it. Therefore old content might still be in the database after dump restore. Could you manually drop the database before the restore operation to see if that alters the behavior you are observing?
