as I mentioned in an earlier Mail, we want use sequoia as a singelDB-JDBC-Proxy.

Is there an NTP required for that? Because in the user's guide it is mentioned as a requirement.

The background is, that we have a VPN-environment, where it will be difficult to set up a ntp-service.
No, there is no need for NTP if you have a single controller. We should probably update the documentation for that. There is no macro or date processing with SingleDB, we just let the database handle everything.
