Hello Laurent,

My group is looking to do the same thing but with MySQL. From
looking over Sequoia and playing around with it the application for the most
part won't notice the difference, between Sequoia and straight to the DB, if
you're using basic standard SQL syntax. That said, I think you'll have some
problems with those Oracle specific queries. So far it's appears to work
satisfactory for us but we don't have any DB specific function/SQL usages.

Good luck,

Randall

Subject: [Sequoia] I need some informations

Hello,

We plan to use a middleware solution like sequoia for data replication. We
have 2 oracle servers on 2 different computers.
On your site, you say that we need no modification of existing application
or database. We have oracle specific queries. Is it a problem?
An application written in Delphi needs to access this database. Is it
possible via sequoia driver?
If this middleware solution is possible for us, we would be very interested
by training or/and support contract. Do you organize training sessions or is
it possible to plan one ?

Thanks for your answer
