Sequoia 2.10.8 has been released and is available for download on the
Continuent.org Forge at https://forge.continuent.org/projects/sequoia/.
This release is a maintenance release on the sequoia 2.10 branch. It
includes many improvements and bug fixes:
- Better memory handling; elimination of major out-of-memory errors
- VDB restart ordering fixed; no longer possible to clear logs accidentally
- Certification against JDK 1.6
(however we still build against JDK 1.4 due to JDBC interface changes)
- Fixes for a number of VDB race conditions, especially:
Checkpoint hangs waiting for <n> open transactions
