Hi Marcus
CPU utilization tends to be relatively low unless you have a lot of
queries. I would budget 1GB memory for each controller if you can
manage it. Sequoia runs poorly if you try to set the memory too
low. Sequoia disk space consumption can be several GB per instance
if you use HSQLDB for the recovery log. The software otherwise
requires minimal space unless you turn on request logs, in which case
you can quickly generate 100s of megabytes of logs.

Hi,
I'm looking into a sequoia implementation - 2 controllers, 2 MySQL
back ends to act as a replacement for an existing MySQL circular
replication setup.
I'm familiar with MySQL's requirements, but I've no idea what kind
of load sequoia imposes. I'm guessing that it will be CPU
constrained with little disk usage - do multiple cores help? How
much RAM does it need?
Any other tips for this conversion?
Thanks,
Marcus
