Hi,

We are planning on releasing a binary build 2.10.10 in the next week or so that rolls up all fixes to Sequoia that have been completed over the last few months. Along with this release we will freshen up some of the documentation. If you know of particularly egregious problems (like the infamous "last man down" issue) please file JIRAs and we will try to fix them.

You can see the list of bugs that have been fixed in this release by visiting the Sequoia home page in JIRA (https://forge.continuent.org/ jira/browse/SEQUOIA) and looking at the Road Map list for Sequoia 2.10.10. The bug fixes include improvements to the recovery log performance, including not writing useless empty commits, better setFetchSize handling, and various unpleasant bugs in transaction and recovery log processing. We will also update some of the libraries like JGroups as well as Appia, which both have new releases.

As you can tell there has been something of a backlog of issues on Sequoia over the last few months. I'm happy to say that it looks as if we will be able to move forward and get back to fixing more bugs in the near future. If you look at the JIRA you will notice that we already have a 2.10.11 release scheduled for December, though if 2.10.10 has problem we'll push out a bit to January. It's my hope to get back to releasing regular binary builds for the benefit of the community that roll up bug fixes.

Thanks,

Robert
