Hello All,
I am new to Sequoia, but I am very impressed with the project. I am
running a proof on concept with the latest version and I am having a few
problems, any help I could get would be great.
Environment:
OS: CentOS 4.5
RDMBS: Postgres 8.2.5
2 Database for data
1 Database for recovery log
Sequoia: 2.10.9 with 1 Controller with 1 Raid 1 virtual database
Problems:
The sequoia server does not always shutdown cleanly, I find that even if I
disable both backends and shutdown the virtual database and the
controller, still it hangs.
The recovery log does not replay correctly, I disable one backend, insert
a row into the virtual database, enable the backend, the in data does not
get replicated to the newly enabled backend.
I know that both of these problems have been reported already, but I just
wanted to let you know that it is not an isolated case. Also, I am a
senior software engineer who is willing to help with these issues if there
is interest in that.
