Dear All,
I got a strange problem that my sequoia controllers keep automatically disabling itself. I have a two controller sequoia setup. I setup scripts that regularly dump the database (using sequoia dump console command). I have scheduled such that when one controller is running dump command, other controller still able to serve clients. Unfortunately after a while the controller get "Controller Member returned an inconsistent results" error and disabled during dump command. Would anyone see the cause? I don't want to check and restore the controllers every night =( . 2007-12-27 13:46:57,375 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Checkpoint disable middleware1-128.128.3.27:25322-20071227134706108+0800 was stored 2007-12-27 13:46:57,375 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Backend middleware1 disabled on controller Member(address=/128.128.3.27:41550, uid=128.128.3.27:41550) 2007-12-27 13:55:29,061 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Failover detected for transaction 1407374883718590 2007-12-27 13:56:57,300 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Checkpoint disable middleware1-128.128.3.27:25322-20071227135706102+0800 was stored 2007-12-27 13:56:57,300 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Backend middleware1 disabled on controller Member(address=/128.128.3.27:41550, uid=128.128.3.27:41550) 2007-12-27 14:06:57,405 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Checkpoint disable middleware1-128.128.3.27:25322-20071227140706217+0800 was stored 2007-12-27 14:06:57,405 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Backend middleware1 disabled on controller Member(address=/128.128.3.27:41550, uid=128.128.3.27:41550) 2007-12-27 14:16:57,489 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Checkpoint disable middleware1-128.128.3.27:25322-20071227141706855+0800 was stored 2007-12-27 14:16:57,489 INFO controller.virtualdatabase.s2 Backend middleware1 disabled on controller Member(address=/128.128.3.27:41550, uid=128.128.3.27:41550) 2007-12-27 14:17:27,758 ERROR controller.RequestManager.s2 Controller Member(address=/128.128.3.30:49987, uid=128.128.3.30:49987) returned an inconsistent results (0 when expecting 1) for request 1407374883935764 2007-12-27 14:17:27,764 WARN controller.RequestManager.s2 Disabling all backends after an inconsistency was detected for request 1407374883935764 1407374883758671 DELETE FROM TABLEA WHERE (ID = ?)/<!%S|1071227309698842|!%> 2007-12-27 14:17:27,767 INFO controller.RequestManager.s2 Setting new virtual database schema. 2007-12-27 14:17:27,767 INFO sequoia.controller.connection 4 connections freed on "jdbc:postgresql://128.128.3.30:5432/database" 2007-12-27 14:17:27,767 WARN sequoia.controller.connection Some connections are still active, destroying them. 2007-12-27 14:17:27,950 WARN controller.loadbalancer.RAIDb1 Active transactions after backend middleware2 is disabled: [1407374883758671] 2007-12-27 14:17:27,950 INFO controller.RequestManager.s2 Backend middleware2 is now disabled Regards Francis
