org.continuent.sequoia.controller.backend.DatabaseBackend.checkDriverCompliance(DatabaseBackend.java:560)
This is probably just a configuration problem in your connection
definition.
You can get that kind of error if the controller cannot connect to the
backend.
Do you have other error messages?
How did you configuration your backend?
