You can probably find the history by looking at the mailing list archive
but Sequoia 3.0 has been discontinued.
The current stable branch is still 2.10 and the development branch, now
in CVS HEAD, is Sequoia 4.0.
Sequoia 4.0 features were discussed on the list recently and it includes
a large number of backports from Sequoia 3.0 even though it is based on
the latest 2.10 code.
So there is still a lot of activity going on. For production usage, you
should use 2.10.10 since there is no stable release yet of 4.0.

I am new in sequoia world, therefore I have a dumb question:
Any one knows what happened to sequoia 3.0?
There’s a prevision or a road map to this project or is it finished in a
dead end?
