There is a DerbyLocalNetBackuper that can backup a Derby server only if
it is running on the same machine as the controller. If Derby is running
on a remote machine, there is no specific backuper for that. You can use
the ScriptBackuper instead and write your own scripts to 'scp' or 'ssh
backup something' to perform the backup operation.
I would not recommend the use of Octopus that probably does not support
Derby.
