Hi,
I really wana use Octopus as the backuper for mysql.
I strongly discourage the use of Octopus. It was there for historical
reasons when no backuper infrastructure existed in C-JDBC but it has so
many shortcomings that its use should be avoided as much as possible.
MySQL has fast and reliable backupers and Octopus should not be used in
that case.

Are you really using the org.mm.mysql.... driver or the com.mysql... one?
