Hi,

In both cases it is the same code that is executed so I guess that when you restart sequoia your backend is simply not enabled. Enabling the backend replays the recovery log since the dump was taken, so if you did not do a recent backup there might be a long history of requests to replay in the recovery log, hence the long enable time.
