Hi,
You probably have a problem with your Postgres setup. You can set the
backuper logger to DEBUG in log4j.properties to see what command is
exactly executed:
log4j.logger.org.continuent.sequoia.controller.backup=DEBUG,
Console,Filetrace
This is usually a problem with the password or access control policies
that prevent pg_dump to backup the database.

I am having problems to backup the database, and the error is pg_dump
