Hi James,

This should not happen on update statements because of the proper locking. 
CREATE statements are different because there is no lock to grab yet since the 
table does not exist (and therefore there is no lock for it).
Your problem might be due to the total order that is not working with the group 
communication. Are you using JGroups before 2.6.5?
