Serbia set to continue its European path and cooperation with Russia - PM

BELGRADE, June 14. /TASS/. Serbia will continue its strategic path into the
European Union and cooperation with Russia and China, Prime Minister
Aleksandar Vucic told a press conference on Tuesday.

"Serbia will not change its strategy. Serbia will continue its European way
and will continue its great cooperation with Russia and China," Vucic said.
"Our policy does not change depending on current political circumstances or
someone's personal relationships, and its moves in the direction that
provides the best results for our citizens," he added.

During the press conference, Vucic repeatedly dodged answering the questions
about cancellation of planned visits to Brussels and Washington. "There are
no considerable and strategic disagreements in relations with US and EU," he
assured.

Several Serbian media outlets said that Vucic had cancelled his visits to
Brussels and Washington because ambassadors of EU and US allegedly supported
protests against the government in Belgrade. However, other media reported
that Brussels and Washington refused to invite Vucic until the government in
Serbia is formed.

"We will try to form the government as soon as possible. We have a lot of
work ahead of us," the Serbian prime minister concluded.
