Attacking Corbyn for being proved right

Former Labour MP Tom Harris launches this attack on the party's leader
entitled
<http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/02/jeremy-corbyn-wishes-that-britai
n-wasnt-a-superpower/> "Jeremy Corbyn wishes that Britain wasn't a
superpower". Harris is a Blairite and, you've got it, owns a company
"offering lobbying and political strategy advice".

In the article, Harris defends Blair's wars of intervention and nowhere more
so than in the former Yugoslavia, he writes:

"If Corbyn had had his way, numerous interventions in which the UK
participated would never have happened. Iraq, obviously. Also Kosovo, in
1999, when Nato-led forces intervened to stop the ethnic cleansing and
genocide of Kosovan Albanians at the hands of Serb forces (Corbyn claimed as
recently as 2004 that the genocide never happened)."

In response I wrote the following letter to the Telegraph editor, as yet
unpublished in the paper.

Sir,

Tom Harris imputes that "Corbyn claimed as recently as 2004 that the
genocide never happened" in Kosovo. Both the ICTY at The Hague and a UN
court agree with Corbyn. Milosevic was not indicted for genocide in Kosovo.

Blair's wars have killed many more innocents than all the ex-Yugoslav wars
of the 90s combined. In his defence, Harris is playing devil's advocate, the
devil in question being Tony Blair.
