This phenomenon is destroying democracy and preventing economic development,” said O’Connell during a press conference after an activity with the Kosovo Law Institute (KLI). Betim Musliu from the KLI said that based on systematic monitoring of the judiciary in Kosovo, no high-profile officials has been convicted and sent to prison found guilty of corruption charges.
