Serbia's President Warns of Complexity of Kosovo Issue 2-3 minutes _____ Belgrade, Mar 2 (Prensa Latina) The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, today reiterated his country''s position on maintaining peace and stability in the region, but warned that relations with Kosovo worsen over time. In an interview on public television, RTS stated that in recent days events have taken place in Kosovo, Albania, everywhere in the world and even in Serbia, and this confirmed to him his certainty that an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina was light years away. He said he is not guilty for what happened and that only the Kosovars breached the Brussels agreements of 2013 on the formation of the Association of Serbian Communities and applied the 100 percent rate to the products of this country, which he described as uncivilized. He noted that the only purpose of all this is to harm the Serbs and that to this is added the statements of Albanian Kosovar leaders against the idea of territorial demarcation, when until a few days ago they proposed how to do it. Vucic emphasized that they and other so-called patriots in Belgrade who pronounced themselves against the division of territories assume the policy of Western powers that only an entire Kosovo can be independent. He reiterated that he will not sign the independence of Kosovo - unilaterally proclaimed in 2008 - and that the tax rate must first be suspended in order to continue the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels with the European Union's mediation. He asked the Kosovo Serbs not to join the Kosovo Army - for which the Pristina authorities proselytise through incentives - because the only objective is 'to find Serbs who fight against Serbs', he predicted.
